You know that the vita price is competitive. And people are on budget these days. But the accessories costs too much including games. You need a big handbag to carry all these things. What I was thinking is you’ll lose more money for all these things before even you know. The device is special but the price is too high. And i don’t need everything. Here is my Essential Accessories list. The external battery is Optional. You can check the battery increasing guide for ps vita.
External Battery 

The ps vita battery life is announced and it lasts up to 3-5 hours depending on the usage. Well I’m not surprised. That’s why I’ve written a battery increasing tips (Can be used for casual devices and psvita) previously. But Sony found an alternative backup plan. An external battery. You can use this external battery to extend the system charge to a +6 to 10 Hours more.
Ps vita Headset - 36 $

I don’t want to interrupt others around me. I want to play the games quite without disturbing anyone. So I’ll need this.
PS vita Simple pouch- $20

The travel pouch is cool but it is expensive. The official case is not so cool. It’s like a paper boat. So I’ll choose the simple pouch.
PS vita screen protector -$10

This is the first thing I’m going to buy. This is very essential. I want to protect the screen from dust and scratches and play games clean.
Ps vita memory card - $42

The memory card is very important. Firstly I thought I could buy the 4GB memory card (29$). But adding extra 10 bucks I’ll get 4GB more. So I’ll go with 8GB memory card.

Many of you may aware that ps vita is equipped with GPS. It’s a built in GPS. It is only available with 3G version. So you have to get a ps vita 3G+ 3G data plan from Sony and service provider. The GPS is included for navigation. And it’ll assist you wherever you go. The 3G+GPS is a good option if you have so much to spend. Otherwise you can get the Wi-Fi version. To use the app ‘Near’ and live area with full functionality you need 3G plan. And the gps need is fully dependent on your location.
If you have an Android, I-phone, ipad or any smart phone with gps then you won’t need Ps vita gps. And I don’t think anyone is going to buy ps vita for GPS. But buying a 3G+wi-fi model is preferred for full online functionality. And you can always connect with your friend’s device until you switch off the device. If you are living near a hotspot location you don’t need a 3G plan.
Everyone says that the ps vita is very cheap. But consider this; you need vita games, memory card, data plan and accessories for the full functionality of device. And I’m still asking the same question that everyone asks. Is it worth buying ps vita? I know you’ll find your answer when you buy it.

Most of us know that a handheld gaming console needed to last for at least 3-6 hours. According to various internet sources, ps vita has a battery life of 4-6 hours and you can play games while charging the system. And also we could assume that the Wi-fi and 3G connection will decrease the battery charge quick. If you need a long lasting battery, charge it before completely drain. Don’t make the system to turn off automatically. And the battery life is depends on various types of usages. The ps vita battery is embedded within the system. Because of a built in battery you need to send the ps vita system to Sony for replacing the battery.
Tips to increase ps vita battery life
Turn off system when not in use
Turn off Wi-Fi and 3G
Charge while playing
Do not make the battery to completely drained out
Use headphones
Keep ps vita clean and use pouch
Install updates that are coming
Don't make the system to automatically turn off.

The Ps vita memory card will be available in 4 different storage sizes.An initial 4GB, 8GB, 16 GB and 32GB! Those who are going to buy Ps vita need this memory cards essentially. PS vita games and unlimited music are downloadable from PS store. And it is very essential to buy this memory card. This memory cards looks like micro SD cards. But they are not. These are exclusive PS vita memory cards. So, the next question arises is will PS vita support PSP memory card? And I would like to say NO! So every PS vita owner should buy a new PS vita memory card. The price tag will be available soon. I’ll update this post.
